From Maya to EEVEE

So a few years back in this same little blog I did a little written tutorial about bringing your animations from blender to cycles, things where not that different then, there was the first implementation of the alembic exporter in place, I believe I even sent my files to test out some issues at the time to the blender team, and now that blender’s support of alembic is much more robust, but the process is mostly the same, I just wanted to do an update on it on video and also EEVEE wasn’t even thought of back then, which is why it was important to make it, because no animator is going to spend 1000 hours rendering their animation… okay maybe some, but EEVEE just makes it fast, easy and fun.

So here it is the new and updated

Happy eeveeing.
